Print Job Manager This software is designed to help businesses and educational institutions of any size centralize print management. It allows you to control, track, and audit print usage as well as set quotas to cut toner, ink and paper wastage. It also allows secure print by PIN or card at the printer. Print Release Station The software keeps print jobs on hold until released manually by a user or administrator. It allows you to reduce print volume and wasted paper by eliminating accidental, unnecessary, or abusive printing. Printer Meter Reading and Toner Monitor This software can be installed on a single computer to scan your network and collect printer counter, Ink/toner level, IP address, model, serial number, MAC address. The scan can be run automatically by schedule, and printer counter & toner level report can be emailed to you daily, weekly or monthly. Print Watermark / Header / Footer This handy tool adds username, computer name, time or date to the header or footer area of the printed document, so users can identify their printed documents easily. It can also add any watermark texts (for example, 'CONFIDENTIAL') to the printed document. Case Studies:
Challenge: A larger company has close to 400 printers installed on Windows Print Servers which are shared. The company needs to keep track of all print jobs, help manage document output, control printing costs, and allocate expenses. Solution: PrinterAdmin Print Job Manager was installed on each print server to monitor all printing activities. A report by department is created at the end of each month. It has 150 printers configured locally (via USB, parallel or Standard TCP/IP port). The company needs to keep track of all printing activities. Solution: PrinterAdmin Print Job Manager was installed on a server, and the addon "Print Job Agent" was pushed to all workstations with Windows Group Policy. Challenge: A small architectural firm needs a way to track and account for its in-house printing in order to transfer the printing expenses associated with project code to their clients. Solution: PrinterAdmin Print Job Manager was installed on a computer with the "Client Billing" feature enabled, and the addon "Print Job Agent" was installed on all other computers. When users print, they are required to select a client code before the print jobs print. A report by client code is created at the end of each month. The university needs to control and reduce printing costs. Solution: PrinterAdmin Print Job Manager was installed on each print server and connected to the central SQL database. PrinterAdmin Print Job Manager allocates a printing quota to all students and controls all printing activities automatically. The student can also be required to enter the PIN before the print jobs print. Challenge: A library has 20 computers and needs to control the printing. Solution: Print Release Station was installed on a computer to hold all print jobs. Challenge: A company has 30 computers. The company needs to add a watermark to all printed documents from all their applications. Solution: Print Watermark / Header / Footer was installed on each computer. When users print from any application, a watermark is added to the printed document automatically. Solution: Printer Meter Reading and Toner Monitor was installed on a single computer to automatically collect the meters and send a report monthly. It also sends alerts about the low toner.
